Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985. Her birthplace was Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. and her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was taking classes at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the moment. Within 10 weeks of her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200-meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003, Felix was a senior in high school signing a professional contract with the company that makes sports Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. The following year, Felix achieved her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the youngest World Champion in the 200m during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, surpassing her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three in all her events.
